TRIFORM

Overview

Resorbable scaffold for natural bone regeneration.

TriForm™ is a fully resorbable bone graft designed for filling, bridging, and regenerating bone in spinal fusion procedures. Its proprietary composition — silicated β-tricalcium phosphate embedded in a collagen matrix — provides an advanced 3D scaffold that encourages vascularization, osteoblast attachment, and full remodeling into host bone.

Scientific Explanation

Advanced Science Behind TriForm™

High porosity allows vascularization and bone cell infiltration; silicate provides osteostimulation; collagen supports stem cell attachment and differentiation.

Technology & Composition

β-TCP, silicate, and collagen united.

β-TCP (pure-phase) infused with sodium-magnesium silicate positioned within the crystal lattice.

Type I collagen matrix forms a 3D scaffold ideal for cellular attachment and infiltration.

~75% interconnected porosity supports rapid vascularization and nutrient diffusion.

Designed to fully resorb and remodel into host bone within the physiologic timeframe.

Mechanism of Action

Initiating the body’s bone-healing cascade.

Upon implantation, TriForm™’s surface chemistry initiates a bioactive cascade: a silica-rich gel layer forms, essential ions (Ca²⁺, PO₄³⁻, SiO₂, MgO, Na₂O) are released, and a natural hydroxyapatite layer precipitates. This HA surface stimulates osteogenesis by activating osteogenic cells, accelerating bone formation and integration.

Handling Advantages

Easy to prepare, safe and precise to use.

Rapid hydration in seconds with saline, blood, or BMA.

Excellent cohesivity and retention.

Cut-to-fit workability and shape retention after hydration

Accepts surgeon-preferred fluids
